The sky broke out in different colors as we watched the last three entries to the SM City Bacolod’s Pyromagic 2008 The Return. Thousands trooped to SM City to watch the fireworks display for two consecutive Saturdays. Last night was the last and Bacolod City’s Peacock Fireworks was the last to performer among three teams and in my opinion, the best.
Indeed, I was proven correct since Peacock Fireworks dominated the event to be the champion of the Pyromagic 2008. Peacock Fireworks was also the Pyromagic 2007 winner.
I was with Skyscrapercity Bacolod Forum buddies and we were strategically positioned at the Sylvia Manor Hotel. Our position gave us a better vantage point compared to those at the SM grounds since we don’t have to look up and strain our necks. One disadvantage of our position is that we can’t hear the music being played but I later found out that Peacock Fireworks used We’re All in This Together from Disney’s High School Musical.
I’m sure everybody who watched the Pyromagic 2008 went home with a smile on their faces as they once again experienced a night of spectacular fireworks.
