The football match between Philippine Azkals Vs Mongolia at Panaad Stadium in Bacolod City will be held on February 9, 2011 at 7:00pm. This is for the home-and-away qualifying series for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Challenge Cup.
We in Bacolod City are very lucky to be the venue of the Philippine Azkals Vs Mongolia game. We are even luckier since we have a chance to get one of the 10,000 free tickets to be given out by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF). The manner of how to get the tickets will be later announced by PFF.
If you don’t want to wait for the 10,000 free tickets, there will be 4,000 tickets which will be sold for P300. Here’s how you can get tickets for the game:
Send your reservations to: ticketing@the-pff.com with subject RE: Grandstand ticket reservation. This will be on a first come first serve basis only. Book and Buy. You may reserve a maximum of 10 tickets. E-mail along your names. Bank details for payment will be provided by PFF.

It’s only fitting that Panaad will be the venue of the Azkals game since football has a large following in Western Visayas. When the rest of the country is crazy over basketball, Ilonggos are football fanatics. My friends at the office and I even took a leave and crouched under the fence of the Panaad Stadium just to see the Younghusband brothers play during the 2005 SEA Games. The Philippine Azkals Vs Mongolia game is something that we won’t allow ourselves to miss. See you there!

Don’t worry Laila you’re not alone. I haven’t received my confirmation yet and since today is the last day of reservation and it’s out in the news that tickets are already sold out, so I guess I’ll have to say goodbye to that ticket. I wish them luck and hope everybody will enjoy the game.
