One of the activities that adds more color to MassKara Festival 2017 is the MassKara Village of ABS-CBN Bacolod. Twenty-four unique (24), wearable masks made by local artists from Bacolod City and Negros Occidental are on exhibit at the 21st MassKara Village at the 2nd Level of Robinsons Place. The masks are made mostly of indigenous and recyclable materials.
The MassKara Village celebrates the world-renowned MassKara Festival, now on its 38th year. The exhibit is an instant crowd-drawer, as mallgoers love to take their photos with these colorful masks.
Of the 24 masks, 15 will be chosen for the Parade of Masks on Oct. 20 at the fountain area of the said mall.
During the parade, the masks will be worn by models with matching body costumes and showcased before the panel of judges and mallgoers.*
