When you think you’ve tried all the things to do at The Ruins in Talisay, they come up with yet again another brilliant idea. They opened a Cafe by the Ruins so you can enjoy sipping coffee while you wait for the sunset to see the golden glow of the Taj Majal of Negros.
We were there the day after they opened so hopefully, more coffee selection can be expected. I hope they can also add coffee from our local growers.
I prefer homegrown coffee than those you can buy from any other coffee shops. I feel good if I buy local products that help local people get employed and old traditions t continue. Cafe 1925 in Silay City serves a reasonably priced Canlusong (Murcia) coffee and the Negros Museum Cafe serves Buenos Aires (Bago City) coffee, although a bit steeper in price.
You may also buy Bacolod’s home-brewed Bogsbrew if you prefer beer.
