Several readers have emailed me and some left comments in my blog post on Ayala whether Ayala is now hiring for their mall. I browsed through Jobstreet for available positions or job openings for Ayala Malls and there were indeed job openings.

Deputy General Manager (for Ayala Malls) – Bacolod

Responsibilities:

• Manage business development and project development activities for the ALI Group as required in the geographical area of responsibility.
• Manage the profitability of the mall through efficient operations.
• Supervise operations functions.
• Manage LGU, partner, and other local stakeholder relationships.
• Coordinate with other business units during project implementation and sales growth.
• Maintain strong and stable relationships with merchants. Establish business partnership to ensure viability in the mall.
• Provide management oversight for the ALI management units to ensure proper execution of business plans in the area.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree or Post Graduate Diploma / Master’s Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Marketing, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Commerce or equivalent.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Property/Real Estate or equivalent. Job role in Management or Property Leasing.

Finance Control Officer (for Ayala Malls) – Bacolod

Responsibilities:

• Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance reports of the Group (actuals vs budgets; forecasts) as well as performance monitoring against targets
• Prepares the Group’s yearly budgets
• Handles the financial audit
• Provides Accounting, Finance and Tax inputs
• in charge of consolidating required presentations to top management
• Ensures correct internal control policies are in place and are being implemented
• Ensures investments are properly managed by keeping track of the assets’ performance and actively participating in partner / asset manager relations

Qualifications:
