Have you seen Subway’s new product launch advertisement? It says it’s made by an intern on a budget. It really makes sense. Why spend loads of money on marketing when you can just give your customers what they paid for? The meat of the matter is, Subway’s New Meat Stack sub is worth your every Peso. The company apparently slashed its marketing budget to give its customers all the meat they deserve.
With Subway’s new Meat Stack sub, you pay for the layers of chicken strips, pepperoni, sliced chicken, and salami … and less for the marketing.
No Marketing Budget? No Problem!
Subway used the hashtags #LessMarketing4MoreMeat #NoBudgetForCopywriter #NoMoneyForHashtag #nobudgetfortvc in their Facebook post during their product launch. This is really thoughtful especially during these challenging times. Subway sends a clear message that they’ve chosen to provide more value for money for their customers.
More company should follow this move since there really is a lot of budget cuts happening due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Companies need to be more creative in their ad campaigns and let the product do the talking.
Just in case you need more videos for your promotion, feel free to use my daughter’s video animation. A Meat Stack sub for her efforts will surely make her happy. 🙂

To avoid queuing, keep social distancing, and reduce waiting time, another convenient way to order your meal at Subway is through their chatbot “BOTTY” via messenger. Go to Subway’s Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/subwayphilippines) and click the Order Food tab at the top of the page. This will redirect you to BOTTY via messenger.
Once you’ve chosen what you’ll have, BOTTY will provide a summary of your orders and the total amount to pay. BOTTY will also provide you with an order number and will update you on the status of your order. You will receive an alert when your order is ready for pick-up. Just provide the payment at the restaurant and you are ready to go.
