2nd NITI Tour Guiding Course

Following the success of the 1st NITI Tour Guiding Course conducted last year, the Negros Island Tourism, Inc. (NITI) will have its second offering this summer. It will run every Saturday commencing on April 17, 2010 until June 26, 2010. The program follows the approved module of the tour guiding course given by the Department of Tourism but with emphasis on local history and culture. The topics will be presented in creative approaches by leading scholars, artists and experts in Negros.

Course includes:

Target participants will come from a cross section of our community: the academe, retired professionals, career shifters, hotel and tourism practitioners, local government units or anyone who is interested in promoting Bacolod and Negros as a destination. Participants of this course will be eligible to take the practical exams to be conducted by the DOT and successful examinees may then apply for the DOT Tour Guide Accreditation.
